Production & Technology Volunteers

This team operates the audio, video, and lighting for Sunday services. No prior experience is needed and training will be provided.

Welcome Team

Our greeting team helps welcome people to our church. The team oversees the Welcome Center, Volunteer Table, and the Front entrances. We are always in need of bright smiling, welcoming people.

Worship Team

This team is committed to creating an atmosphere through music where individuals can strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ.

We continually seek gifted vocalists and musicians to enhance the worship experience

Grounds Team

The Grounds Team serves as faithful stewards of our church property, maintaining our lawn, nurturing flower beds and landscaping, and handling seasonal cleanup tasks. This dedicated group of volunteers works behind the scenes to ensure our church grounds remain welcoming and beautiful year-round, creating an environment that honors God and provides a peaceful setting for worship, fellowship, and community gatherings.

Photography Volunteers

First impressions matter — and in a digital age, they begin before visitors even walk through our doors. Our photography team plays a vital role in helping us communicate our vision as a church.

Online Host Volunteers

We have several hundred people who attend our services online. Our online hosts help welcome people, engage with our online audience, and help them feel like they truly are a part of the Valorous family.

Campus Watch Volunteers

This team oversees the safety of all people in attendance. They are trained to handle potential threats as well as medical emergencies.

Students Volunteers

Equipping the next generation to SHINE the light of Jesus into the world. We are always looking for volunteers to help with this growing ministry that is so important to the local church and the Kingdom. Helping these young men and women grow into their God-given purpose is critical to their personal lives and the life of the church. Let's shine together.

Valorous Kids

During our kids’ services, children will experience energetic and interactive worship, engage in games and activities with new friends and have focused time with loving leaders who make sure every child knows they are important and loved by God. From rocking babies to leading small groups, there is a place for you!

Prison Ministry

We currently have a dedicated team serving at Columbus County Correctional Facility. We are affiliated with Jumpstart USA, a faith-based organization dedicated to providing a Christian environment for offenders and ex-offenders.

Facilities & Refresh Volunteers

Use your unique skills and abilities to help maintain and keep our campus looking beautiful. This team handles everything from cleaning and sanitizing, to painting and construction.

Café Volunteers

The café team prepares the food and beverages that are served to all guests on Sunday mornings. Whether it’s cooking, setting up, or serving, we are always looking for more people to join this team.

Parking Team

With all of the people who attend Valorous on the weekend, our parking team is one of the most important teams on Sunday. Not only to help relieve the stress of getting in and out of a crowded parking lot, but they are the first contact that everyone has at our church.

Care & Prayer Volunteers

When someone in the church needs help, this is the team that they can reach out to. These volunteers pray with people, as well as help with physical needs.

Valorous Academy

Valorous Academy loves to partner with volunteers to build students’ character through various volunteer opportunities.

Usher Team

This team oversees the welcoming, seating, and needs of all people in the auditorium.
